And that was partially because we wanted the killer to have a clean getaway so he could continue to go about his routine undetected. I think the main four died in every draft of the script. Yes, the description & trailer contradict each other. Not that I feel the story was ruined for us due to our ‘guess’, but I think it would’ve been more of a shock if we hadn’t guessed it. So, dont watch the trailer if you want to go into this movie properly. We made the mistake of watching the trailer beforehand, and that does hint at the outcome (not too much, but for us to guess the basic/initial ending about halfway through).
